Jerry Mannel Reghunadh is a Chief Impatient Officer at appveen, where he is responsible for all the technical decisions. With over 16 years of experience in the industry, Jerry is an in-and-out geek at heart who spends his time predicting, preparing, and designing the next-generation data stack that powers appveen's smart contracts, data pipes, and digital core platforms. Jerry has a product engineering background and started his career at WIPRO Technologies as a quality assurance engineer for optical broadband and HP NSK. Later, he joined IBM India Software Labs and was part of the development team behind some of IBM's flagship products - IBM Datapower and IBM Worklight. Before joining appveen, Jerry was part of CAPIOT Software, developing microservices-based solutions for customers in the e-commerce and travel-and-leisure domains. Jerry dabbles in technologies and solutions to solve old and new problems. He believes that even though compute power is becoming cheaper, writing quality code that works even on barebones hardware is an art. He is a die-hard Formula1 fan and also loves spending time being a husband, dad, and beer lover. Jerry's tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, Smart Contract, Microservices, Backend, QA, MongoDB, NodeJS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, and Frontend. He holds a B.Tech. in Information Technology from Government Engineering College, Barton Hill, Thiruvananthapuram, and completed his 10+2 from Sree Narayana Central School. Jerry's past companies include CAPIOT Software, where he was a Senior Architect for microservices-based travel and ERP platforms. At CAPIOT, he played a crucial role in selecting the technology and architecting the entire solution as a microservices-based offering using MongoDB as the backend database. He also built the entire ERP system using a microservices architecture, enabling the frontend and backend teams to scrum together on a single API spec without worrying about the repercussions of changing API schemas. In his current role, Jerry is responsible for the design and architecture of appveen data.stack and appveen Smart Contracts. He is a passionate techie at heart, always exploring new technologies and solutions to solve problems.
